Corrupt Perspective of YOURSELF

How do you see yourself?

Do you see yourself as confident, happy, beautiful, handsome, strong, capable, radiant?

Or, do you perhaps let words that come from the outside world influence you?

Or worse yet, that voice that is constantly within your own mind?

The constant stream of:

“You’re not good enough”

“You’ll never make it”

“You’re fat”

“They’ll never like you”

“You should just give up”

“You’re not worth it”

“You’re not important”

“You’re not strong enough”

Is this what you hear from those around you?

Is this what you hear from yourself?

This is what I call a “corrupt perspective of yourself”.

For so long people have looked to everything and anything around them to tell them who they are or what they should be like.

Yet, it has not made you happy.

How could you possibly ever be happy with being something that someone else dictated you be?

Being you is what counts, and only you know who you truly are or wish to become as you grow through the years.

You have so much to give, so much to offer, but if you only listen to the negative, or what the world tells you that you have to be in order to be accepted, then you will never have a life that will fulfill you. That kind of life will only fulfill others, leaving you empty and unfinished.

No one has the right to try to take away YOU!

Get up, kick those who wish to keep you low to the curb – Say “there’s the door! Don’t let it hit you in the ass on your way out!”

As for you – those ever-consuming thoughts that won’t leave you for a moment, telling you that you are not good enough – FUCK THAT!

Nothing happens overnight, you must re-train your way of thinking and banish those thoughts daily.

In the beginning, you may have to tell yourself every minute of the day to not allow that voice to have control. Every day you can take another step to maneuvering your way through the sludge of crap that I call “constant putdowns of yourself”.

Do not think that this will fix itself with a snap of your fingers. Change takes time, but you will see that it has been time well spent. Every small step brings you closer to where you wish to be. Every tiny move forward will get you to that finish line.

You’ve got it in you!

You’ve got this – you’ve always had it!

You just need to hear it for yourself!

Keep Moving Forward! Let no one control who you truly are!
